Privacy policy

Short version: nothing you tap, type or photograph is ever tied to you. Laundry Signs is a static website — there is no backend, no database, no user accounts, and no photo-upload feature anywhere on the site. The tap decoder, verdict logic and printable chart all run locally in your browser. We do count anonymous page visits with Google Analytics to learn which pages help — it never sees your tapped symbols or anything you type.

What we store. Your dark/light theme choice is saved in your browser's own local storage so the site remembers it. Your tapped symbols live only in the page address (the #s= link you can copy) — never sent anywhere. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (such as _ga) to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings or use a content blocker — the site works fully without them.

What leaves your device. Loading any page fetches the page files, fonts (Google Fonts), the Google Analytics script, and nothing else — plus small anonymous visit pings back to Google Analytics. If you share a link, only you choose to send it. Contact emails you send us contain whatever you write — nothing more.

Children. The site contains no accounts, uploads or messaging and is safe for all ages, though garment care decisions for expensive items should always involve an adult or a professional cleaner.
